
UAE GCAA Lifts All Flight Restrictions
Japan Airlines (JAL) and Air Astana are set to commence joint flight operations (codeshare) by spring of 2026.
Air Astana targets the launch of its Almaty-Tokyo and Almaty-Astana-Atyrau routes around the spring of 2026. The agreement includes JAL-operated routes from Tokyo to Sapporo/Chitose, Nagoya/Chubu, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Okinawa/Naha.
Air Astana, a Kazakhstan-based airline founded in 2001, is the largest airline group in Central Asia and the Caucasus region, operating a fleet of 54 aircraft.
