‘Kochan Ramen’ Expands to South Korea with First Store in Seoul
Wins Japan Holdings has made its first foray into South Korea with the opening of ‘Kochan Ramen’ in Seoul’s Boramae store on August 19.
‘Kochan Ramen’ is a genuine Hakata tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen brand that operates 17 stores both in Japan and internationally. Its signature Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen is known for its rich pork bone broth combined with a subtle tanginess and its custom-made thin noodles. South Korea marks the second international expansion for the brand.
The location seats 18 customers. Business hours are from 11 AM to 9 PM, with the last order taken at 8:30 PM.
Wins Japan Holdings was founded in 2004 in Fukuoka. It runs over 90 ramen restaurants, including Hakata Ikkousha and Kochan Ramen, in 11 countries worldwide.
