ANA Akindo has launched a new service, ‘ANA’s Travel Destination Tax Donation’, on its hometown tax donation site ‘ANA’s Hometown Tax Donation’.
The service is provided in collaboration with Giftee’s API for ‘Tax Donation at Travel Destinations’, enabling tax donations while traveling. The ‘e-Town Gift’, provided as a return gift equivalent to 30% of the donated amount, can be used at participating restaurants, accommodation facilities, and experience facilities within the target area, in denominations of 1 yen at the time of payment.
Initially, six municipalities have been selected as targets: Chitose City in Hokkaido, Kutchan Town in Hokkaido, Kawagoe City in Saitama Prefecture, Kyoto City in Kyoto Prefecture, Shirahama Town in Wakayama Prefecture, and Setouchi City in Okayama Prefecture. There are plans to gradually expand the list of target municipalities.
