JAL Starts Selling Paid In-Flight Meals Featuring Eel Bento and Beef Stew
JAL Collaborates with Shiseido Parlor for In-flight Meals on Short International Flights, Starting September for One Year
Japan Airlines (JAL) and Shiseido Parlor are offering original menu items supervised by the Executive Chef of Shiseido Parlor on international flights.
The menu includes six types of dishes such as “Beef Stew”, “Shrimp Doria”, and “Chicken Grill with Chasseur Sauce”, which will be changed every two months. Dessert will include “Cheesecake”. The service period is from September 1, 2023, to August 31, 2025.
This service will be provided in the Premium Economy Class and Economy Class on flights departing from Tokyo/Haneda, Tokyo/Narita, Nagoya/Chubu, and Osaka/Kansai to Beijing, Dalian, Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Taipei.
The two companies also previously collaborated on special menu items provided on the Hawaii route from September 2016 to August 2018.
