Japan Travel Reports Net Profit of ¥709 Million for January-June 2024 Period
Japan Travel has announced its consolidated financial results for the January-June 2024 period. The net profit was ¥709 million.
Revenue was ¥97.084 billion, and operating profit was ¥3.47 billion. The net profit decreased by 80%.
The decline in domestic travel due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake and high prices, together with a lack of significant recovery in overseas travel due to the weaker yen, continued. The commissioned business, including the vaccine administration project, decreased by 70% compared to the previous term.
