Turkish Airlines announces a temporary reduction in flights between Tokyo/Narita and Istanbul starting from December 3.
Currently operating one round trip daily, the schedule will be adjusted to five round trips per week excluding Wednesdays and Saturdays for departures from Tokyo/Narita and Tuesdays and Fridays for departures from Istanbul. The flights will use Boeing 787-9 aircraft, with a flight duration of 13 hours and 50 minutes from Tokyo/Narita and 11 hours and 20 minutes from Istanbul.
Flights from Tokyo/Narita will operate on December 28 and January 4, and from Istanbul on December 27 and January 3. After March 2, 2025, the service will return to one round trip per day, with a similar schedule expected for the following summer.
