Japan Airlines (JAL) is offering ‘Macaroni Truffle Gratin’ as a vegetarian vegan menu option in the special meals for First Class and Business Class on international flights.
Manufactured and sold by ZENB JAPAN, the gluten-free pasta ‘ZENB Mameloni’, made 100% from yellow peas, is used to create a creamy taste. This dish combines the chewy texture and the savory taste of the ‘ZENB Mameloni’, ensuring that even as a vegan option, it can be thoroughly enjoyed for its satisfying flavor.
JAL has been providing vegan and vegetarian options containing dairy in First Class and Business Class, supervised by Chef Fumio Yonezawa, the owner of the restaurant ‘No Code’.
These special meals will be available from September 1 to November 30, offered on select international flights departing from Tokyo/Haneda and Tokyo/Narita, excluding short-haul routes. Advance reservation is required.
