Travel Guide Launches Contest to Find the ‘World’s Most Unfortunate Traveler’
One of the leading travel insurance companies, Travel Guard, is conducting a contest until October 15th to find the ‘World’s Most Unfortunate Traveler’.
The contest is open to residents of the United States and Canada, and accepts submissions of videos and photos depicting unfortunate incidents during grand travels. Following the submission period, voting will take place over three weeks starting from October 16th. The person who posted the misfortune with the most votes will be awarded $10,000 USD. Additionally, second to fourth place, as well as randomly selected voters, will be gifted GoPro action cameras.
Jeff Rutledge, CEO of AIG Travel, stated, “While we encourage travelers to protect their trips and themselves, we recognize that things don’t always go as planned. We launched the World’s Most Unfortunate Traveler contest to highlight the value of considering travel insurance through illuminating unfortunate events that people have endured while pursuing their love for travel.”
