Wizz Air plans to deploy the newly introduced Airbus A321XLR aircraft to London/Gatwick and Milan/Malpensa.
The first aircraft is expected to be received in March 2025, with Wizz Air UK operating from its London/Gatwick base. The London/Gatwick to Jeddah route will be inaugurated with one round trip daily starting March 31, 2025.
In October 2020, Wizz Air established its second base in the UK at London Gatwick Airport. Currently, it operates 5 Airbus A321neo aircraft, connecting 26 cities in 17 countries.
The second aircraft will be based at Milan Malpensa Airport, and the Milan/Malpensa to Abu Dhabi route will commence with one daily round trip on June 2, 2025.
