JTB has reopened ‘Travel Gate Sapporo’ on September 13th after its renovation.
The store has been relocated from the Sapporo Grand Hotel. The concept is “To become a new store that connects Hokkaido’s customers and those visiting Hokkaido with the region”, and for the first time as a store in Hokkaido, a communication space has been set up to hold events in collaboration with tourism operators and local companies.
Additionally, as an information distribution hub, it will broadcast popular theme parks and seasonal tourist spots both domestically and internationally through digital signage. From October onwards, large digital signage will be installed along Minami 1 Jo Street to distribute travel information outside the store’s business hours.
