The detour is necessary to avoid Typhoon No. 13 located in the East China Sea, leading to a crew change midway due to the flight plan exceeding the legal duty time limits set by regulations.
The flight will depart from Delhi at 7:10 PM on the same day, arrive in Okinawa/Naha at 6:00 AM, and depart again at 7:30 AM. It is expected to arrive at Tokyo/Haneda at 9:55 AM, which is 3 hours and 10 minutes later than scheduled.
