JAL Celebrates the 70th Anniversary of the Direct Flight Service Between Tokyo/Haneda and Fukuoka with a Campaign
Japan Airlines (JAL) is launching a campaign to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the direct flight service between Tokyo/Haneda and Fukuoka.
From October 1 to December 26, among those who board the specified route with eligible fare for mileage accrual and enter the campaign, 70 lucky participants will be selected to win airplane tickets or a model of the Airbus A350-900.
Additionally, for JAL Mileage Bank members, a “Haneda-Fukuoka 70th Anniversary Coupon” that can be used with JAL Dynamic Package will be distributed. This offers a discount of 2,000 yen for a travel expense of 40,000 yen or more per group.
JAL initiated the service on this route with the Douglas DC-6B as a direct flight on November 25, 1954. Currently, it operates 17 round trips a day, using Airbus A350-900 aircraft for some flights.
