Lufthansa Dresses Flight Attendants in Traditional Costumes for Oktoberfest
In celebration of Oktoberfest, Lufthansa German Airlines will have cabin crew serving passengers dressed in traditional costumes.
The costumes, designed and tailored by the Munich-based traditional costume specialist Angermaier, are produced and processed in a sustainable manner. The flights from Munich to Osaka/Kansai on September 20 and from Munich to Johannesburg on September 30 will feature this special attire.
The lounges will offer Bavarian beer, potato soup, roast pork, and other traditional dishes. First-class passengers can enjoy gourmet dishes such as duck breast. On some long-haul flights departing from Frankfurt and Munich, popular Bavarian dishes will be available during Oktoberfest, along with special beers on short-haul flights. Amenities will be provided in small Oktoberfest-themed heart-shaped bags.
Additionally, during Oktoberfest, the ground staff at Munich Airport will wear traditional attire, with women in dirndls and men in traditional suits.
