Japan Airlines (JAL) has started accepting entries for its winter internship for business planning and cabin crew positions.
For the business planning positions, the program offers a ‘Comprehensive Experience Program’ where participants can extensively learn about the business areas of corporate, operations, business marketing, and data science & digital technology courses before engaging in actual workplace experience. Additionally, there’s an ‘Airline Engineer Program’ that allows extensive learning about the business area of the airline engineer course, followed by actual workplace experience.
For cabin crew positions, a ‘Comprehensive Experience Program’ is prepared, introducing the duties of security personnel and service staff, showcasing the charm of a flight attendant’s career through experiences in indirect departments utilizing insights and sensibilities cultivated onboard, and offering a career step that allows for autonomous and early-stage growth through challenges.
Both internals last for five days, comprising two days of corporate research and three days of practical experience. Target participants for the business planning positions are those enrolled in a four-year university or graduate school, while cabin crew positions include those enrolled in vocational schools, junior colleges, and technical colleges.
