Singapore Airlines Offers Special In-Flight Meals to Celebrate 35th Anniversary of Nagoya Service
Singapore Airlines is offering special in-flight meals to commemorate the 35th anniversary of its service to Nagoya.
In Business Class, in addition to the two regular menus, there are two special menus prepared. Under the supervision of Yoshihiro Murata, the “Hanakoi Calendar” includes an appetizer and main course using octopus and sea bream from Minamichita, a variation of “Hitsumabushi” eel over rice, and a dessert inspired by Ogura toast – toast topped with adzuki beans and vanilla ice cream.
As a limited-time menu labeled “Flavors of Nagoya”, passengers can enjoy Nagoya Cochin chicken with matsutake mushroom rice and a Mont Blanc dessert using seasonal chestnuts.
In Economy Class, in addition to one regular menu, options labeled “Flavors of Nagoya” include Kishimen noodles with Chita beef and eel rice.
The special menus are available on flights departing from Nagoya / Chubu, from October 1st to 26th.
