KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will serve 155 cities in its winter schedule.
The airline will operate flights to 89 cities in Europe and 66 intercontinental destinations. New service to Portland follows the takeover from Delta Air Lines, in addition to a 15% increase in seat capacity on routes to India.
In Europe, the airline will add flights to Billund, Belfast, Malaga, Alicante, Bremen, and Rovaniemi. In North America, the service to San Francisco will be increased to up to one round trip per day, and up to five round trips per week to Edmonton.
In Asia, demand has not fully recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic, and due to the longer flight times resulting from routes avoiding Russia, the airline will maintain the same level of operation as last winter. Services to Japan include one round trip per day to Tokyo/Narita and three round trips per week to Osaka/Kansai.
Premium Comfort Class will be available on all Boeing 787 and Boeing 777 aircraft. The state-of-the-art Airbus A321neo fleet will expand to four aircraft by the end of the year, serving Paris, Prague, and Vienna.
