Sushiro Establishes Local Subsidiary Ahead of Expansion into Malaysia
‘editor’s fav Rurubu Kitchen’ Relocates and Grand Opens in Shinjuku Kinokuniya Building
JTB Publishing and Kinokuniya Bookstore announce the relocation and grand opening of the restaurant ‘editor’s fav Rurubu Kitchen’ in the underground shopping street of Kinokuniya Building in Shinjuku on November 20th.
Since its establishment in 2017, ‘Rurubu Kitchen’ has served as a real-life media outlet where editors of the travel guide ‘Rurubu’ deliver the “delicious” finds from their travels across Japan. The restaurant features ‘Special Feature Fair Menus,’ which focus on different regions of Japan and offer original dishes that make use of local produce.
This marks the first time for a publishing house-operated restaurant to open in a Kinokuniya Bookstore. Coinciding with the relocation, lunch service will begin. The store in Shinjuku 4-chome will close on October 18th.
The operating hours are from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM for lunch and from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM for dinner. Last orders are taken 30 minutes before closing.
