Scoot will increase the frequency of flights between Singapore and Balikpapan starting October 13.
Currently, the airline operates three round trips a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with plans to add Sunday flights to the schedule. The flight from Singapore takes 2 and a half hours, and the return flight from Balikpapan takes 2 hours and 40 minutes.
Scoot is presently using Airbus A320 aircraft for this route but plans to switch to the smaller Embraer E195 aircraft to fly more frequently.
