WILLER TRAINS will hold a collaboration event with Sanrio’s character PomPomPurin on the Kyoto Tango Railway titled “PomPomPurin’s exciting Tango Adventure!”, running from October 26th, 2024 to January 25th, 2025.
In addition to operating a special wrapping train designed both exteriorly and interiorly with ‘Team Purin’ and PomPomPurin, they will offer an original one-day pass “PomPomPurin’s Exciting Pass”, sell original merchandise, and set up character panels.
The service route for the wrapped train runs between Miyazu Line’s Miyamae Station and Toyooka Station. Details regarding the operation will be announced on the website.
Sales of the “PomPomPurin’s Exciting Pass” are available at stations including Fukuchiyama, Oe, Nishimaizuru, Tango Yura, Kurita, Miyazu, Amanohashidate, Yosano, Kyotango Omiya, Mineyama, Amino, Yuhigaoka Kitsu Onsen, Kotobiki, Kumihama, Toyooka, and on the website. Prices are set at 2,000 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for children. An additional express ticket and a boarding ticket are required to use the express trains and the Tango Akamatsu. Buyers will receive a “Travel Rubber Case” as a present.
