Emirates has announced an increase in flights on the Dubai-Johannesburg route starting March 1, 2025.
Currently operating three round trips per day, the airline will increase this to four round trips. The flights will utilize three-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
This route recently expanded its operation with two daily round trips using the Airbus A380 since September 1. This expansion will bring the total to 49 weekly flights to three cities in South Africa. From Johannesburg, passengers can access 12 cities through the network of South African Airways, with whom Emirates operates a codeshare agreement.
