TAOYA Shirahama Senjo: Rebranding and Opening on November 1
Oedo Onsen Monogatari Hotels & Resorts has rebranded the former Yuka Resort Premium Hotel Senjo as “TAOYA Shirahama Senjo” and opened it on November 1.
The rebranding occurred because Oedo Onsen Monogatari and Yuka Resort integrated their brands into the “Oedo Onsen Monogatari Group” as of November 1.
The renovation includes front desk, lobby, restaurant, and hot spring pool among other public spaces, with an increase in Japanese-Western style rooms and many rooms being remodeled. New amenities such as a lounge that offers soft drinks and alcohol, a post-bath lounge, and a library corner have also been introduced. A water basin terrace facing the sea and a hot spring pool have been placed in the courtyard where one can enjoy the sunset from benches and the pool. The infinity open-air bath and large communal bath offer hot springs directly drawn from the property’s own source, “Senju no Yu.”
The restaurant decorates with cabin-style rooms and marine taste, offering views of the courtyard. Meals include “hamayaki,” “unagi kabayaki,” and other seafood delights, “Wakayama Ramen,” “Mehari Sushi,” and other local specialties, as well as desserts in a buffet style, with a daily “tuna (Yellowfin) dissection show.”
Access is a 15-minute drive from the Nanki Shirahama Interchange (IC). Direct round-trip bus service from Kyoto, Shin-Osaka, and Tennoji stations is also planned.
