Yamato Taxi and Newstech Launch ‘TOKYO CHAUFFEUR SERVICE’ for Foreign Visitors
Yamato Taxi and Newstech have launched a premium hire service for foreign visitors, ‘TOKYO CHAUFFEUR SERVICE’.
The service targets hotels in the Tokyo metropolitan area, offering a dedicated system for arranging transport. It enables sharing of the client’s name, number of passengers, number of pieces of luggage, destination, language, chosen vehicle class, and the use or request for child seats or wheelchairs, as well as tourism preferences. This contributes to improving the hotel’s operational efficiency.
The vehicles include the Lexus LM and Toyota Alphard, equipped with amenities such as bottled water and hand towels, as well as Wi-Fi. The onboard monitor supports viewing video content and participating in Zoom meetings. Mats and scents can also be customized to hotel specifications.
Drivers are proficient in languages and hold the Tokyo City Guide Qualification. They can also accommodate requests for tourist information within Tokyo.
