JTB has announced its mid-term financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2025, with a net profit of 3.3 billion yen.
The revenue was 522.3 billion yen, operating profit was 4.7 billion yen, and ordinary profit was 5.6 billion yen. Revenue saw a slight increase compared to the same period last year, while the other figures approximately halved.
By sector, revenue from overseas travel increased by 67.4%, global travel between third countries increased by 49.8%, while domestic travel decreased by 4.5%. Non-travel sectors experienced a 26.4% decrease due to the reduction in coronavirus-related businesses.
The full-year performance forecast anticipates an operating profit of 11.6 billion yen.
