Emirates Extends Partnership with Tennis Australia Until 2029
Emirates has extended its partnership with Tennis Australia for another five years, until 2029.
The two parties originally signed the agreement in 2015. As the Australian Open’s official airline, activities include Kids Tennis Day, Emirates Day, and the Emirates Hospitality Suite. Matches are broadcast on flights and in lounges, and flights to and from Australia in January offer themed menus. It’s also possible to exchange miles for match tickets.
Furthermore, the partnership will invest $2.25 million over five years to foster a bright future for underprivileged children and young people through tennis. Free events will be held in Australia’s five major cities to foster a sense of belonging among disadvantaged youth.
In addition to this partnership, Emirates supports the four Grand Slam tournaments including the US Open, French Open, and Wimbledon Championships.
