Virgin Australia has announced the opening of four routes connecting Australia with Doha, with ticket sales starting for three of these routes.
The services will commence on January 12, 2025, for the Sydney to Doha route, followed by Brisbane to Doha starting on January 19, 2025, and Perth to Doha commencing on January 26, 2025. There are also plans to launch the Melbourne to Doha route within 2025. This expansion will introduce 28 round trips per week.
The flights will be operated by Qatar Airways aircraft, primarily equipped with the ‘QSuite’ in Business Class. While final approval from the authorities is required for the operation, refunds or alternative arrangements will be made in case approval is not granted.
