Atsumi Onsen Bankokuya has introduced all-new guest rooms, equipped with open-air baths, themed around the ‘Sea of Yamagata-Shonai’.
Including previously renovated rooms with open-air baths, this renewal has completed a total of 6 rooms. Themed around the ‘Sea of Yamagata-Shonai’, each room features concepts such as ‘The Sea as Viewed from Mt. Gassan and Mt. Chokai’, ‘The Sea and Sea Breeze of Shonai’, ‘Expanding Shonai Sand Dunes’, and ‘The Sunset over the Sea of Japan and Shonai Beach’. Each guest room has an open-air bath designed according to the theme, made from Oishida-yaki pottery from the Tsuginosuke Kiln, allowing guests to enjoy the abundant hot spring waters of Atsumi Onsen, flowing at a rate of 1,100 to 1,300 liters per minute, alongside the rural landscapes of Yamagata-Shonai.
The rooms can accommodate up to 6 guests, with services available sequentially from December 26.
