Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort & Spa is offering ‘Winter Afternoon Tea’ from December 1 to February 28, 2025.
The menu includes a plate of whipped cream and caramel sauce enhanced with citrus peel for fragrance and freshness, topped with hot chocolate, ‘Strawberry and Matcha Scones’ combining the aroma of strawberries with the bittersweetness of matcha, three types of jams including ‘Chestnut and Rhubarb Jam’ crafted with French chestnuts and rhubarb, a ‘Chocolate Macaron’ filled with strawberry and raspberry jam and chocolate ganache, and a ‘Strawberry Parfait’ layered with strawberries, red currants, strawberry mousse and crumble, topped with cocoa tuile and small chocolate tablets.
The venue is the Living Room. It is available from noon to 2:30 PM. Prices are JPY 5,200, or JPY 6,200 with a glass of champagne. Both prices are inclusive of tax but exclude service charges.
