Nara’s Kasuga Okuyama Tsukihitei: Two Rooms Renovated into Japanese-Western Style

Nara’s Kasuga Okuyama Tsukihitei has renovated its “Bamboo Room” and “Young Leaves Room” into modern Japanese-Western style rooms, available from December 25th.

Both rooms are equipped with baths made of Takano cedar wood, incorporating a design inspired by the “Sun and Moon Rock”, which is the origin of the name of Tsukihitei. The “Bamboo Room” is a 74 square meter Japanese-Western style room, equipped with a bench. The “Young Leaves Room” is a 66 square meter Japanese-Western style room, from which you can view the scenery of the “Kasuga Mountain Primeval Forest” from the veranda. The capacity for both rooms ranges from 2 to 4 people.

To celebrate the renovation, a special plan including a “MARKS & WEB Face Care Set” and a “complimentary dish at dinner” is offered. The staying period is from December 25th to March 31st, 2025. The price starts from 63,800 yen per person in a room for two people (including tax, service charge, and breakfast and dinner).
