
‘Sunflower Kamui’ to be Introduced to the Oarai-Tomakomai Route by Early 2025, Naming and Launching Ceremony Held
Panstar Group has announced the inauguration of its new Panstar Cruise Ferry, the ‘Panstar Miracle,’ on April 10.
The Panstar Miracle is being constructed at Daesun Shipbuilding & Engineering in Busan. With a gross tonnage of 22,000 tons, a length of 171 meters, and a width of 25.4 meters, it has a total of 102 cabins and can accommodate 355 passengers. In addition to being able to carry 254 twenty-foot containers, it can also operate as a car ferry.
The ship features luxury amenities such as ocean-view cabins with balconies, an outdoor pool, a jogging track, a VIP lounge, a massage room, a therapy room, a sauna, a fitness center, and a duty-free shop.
It will replace the existing ship operating on the Osaka-Busan route, with the departure from Osaka port scheduled for April 11. Reservations will open on January 6, 2025.
