Air Serbia and China Southern Airlines have agreed to implement a joint operation (code share).
China Southern Airlines’ Guangzhou-Belgrade route and Air Serbia’s Belgrade-Guangzhou/Shanghai-Pudong route will each bear the other’s flight numbers.
This will enable Air Serbia’s passengers to connect to 20 Oceania and Asia routes beyond Guangzhou operated by China Southern Airlines, while China Southern Airlines’ passengers will be able to connect to 21 European routes beyond Belgrade.
Both companies concluded a memorandum of understanding (MoU) towards this partnership in September 2024, which included not only code sharing but also enhancements in cargo, ground handling, MRO, catering, lounge cooperation, and more.
