Solare Hotels to Open ‘DanSetsu Sapporo’ in April

Solare Hotels and Resorts will open “DanSetsu Sapporo” in April.

As part of the “FIFTH SEASON HOTELS” series, which views the local climate and nature as the “fifth season” in addition to the four standard seasons, it allows guests to experience the unique charm of the region more deeply. The “fifth season” for DanSetsu Sapporo is between winter and spring, themed around the anticipation of warm weather, the vigor, and beauty observed during this season.

The hotel offers various types of rooms, including 136 guest rooms. It features “private sauna rooms” offering a sauna experience with a self-relucing shower and chiller-equipped cold baths, and apartment-type rooms with mini kitchens accommodating up to 6 guests.

The facility includes a sauna and large bath produced by Mr. Hiroshi Matsuo and Mr. Kentaro Imai that let guests feel Hokkaido’s nature, photos themed on snow scenery, mud walls hand-crafted using traditional methods by plasterers with Hokkaido soil, art inspired by Hokkaido’s nature, a lounge with alcoholic beverages, a drink bar, and light meals available at any time.
