‘ANA Holiday Inn Tokyo Bay’ to Open in April, Rebranding the Former Daiichi Hotel
Hilton and Mitsubishi HC Capital Realty will open the “Hilton Garden Inn Yokohama Minato Mirai” in early 2026.
It will rebrand The Square Hotel Yokohama Minato Mirai, which opened in December 2021 and closed operations on June 30.
The building consists of 21 above-ground and one basement floor. It will have 232 guestrooms centered around 27 square meters each, along with dining facilities, a 24-hour self-service shop called “The Shop,” and a fitness center.
Access is approximately a 7-minute walk from Minato Mirai Station on the Minato Mirai Line, and about a 5-minute walk from Pacifico Yokohama, one of the largest integrated MICE facilities in Japan, and the K Arena Yokohama music arena. It is designed for business and tourism.
“Hilton Garden Inn” is Hilton’s focused service brand. This will be its first foray into the Kanto region. In Yokohama, Hilton Yokohama opened in 2023, and Conrad Yokohama is slated to open in 2027. This will be the second hotel venture following DoubleTree by Hilton Tokyo Ariake.
