Swiss International Air Lines has revamped its in-flight meals for the long-haul economy class and premium economy class.
As a new in-flight experience that appeals to all senses, the first step of the product concept “SWISS Senses” is to expand the in-flight dining and beverage menu.
As a welcome aperitif, high-quality Sbrinz cheese is served as an appetizer, paying respect to Swiss aperitif culture. Numerous new creative dishes have also been added to the main course. Meals before landing have been upgraded and are served on trays or reusable boxes.
On some flights, snacks are available between meals, offering a wide variety of options. New Swiss red wines and popular Swiss soft drinks like Rivella are also available.
In terms of scent, passengers can try the signature fragrance of Alpine Valley, developed with Zurich-based Soeder. This combines the scent of larch, fresh citrus, and subtle herbs to evoke the Swiss Alps. It is available in the lavatory as soap, hand lotion, and facial spray.
