Hospitality Operations rebranded and opened the “Smile Hotel Miyakojima” on April 14.
The building is split into zone-A (Asobi Wing), a 10-story above-ground structure, and zone-B (Biz Wing), which has 1 basement level and 8 floors above ground. Zone-A accommodates 72 rooms, including Japanese-style rooms, twin rooms, Japanese-Western rooms, and universal rooms, while zone-B offers 63 rooms comprising double and twin rooms. Facilities inside include a coin laundry, a washing area for diving equipment, and coin lockers. Breakfast is served in a buffet style featuring Japanese, Western, and Ryukyu cuisines, available not only at the breakfast venue but also as a BENTO BOX style for enjoyment on the rooftop terrace or on outings.
A rebranded opening commemorative plan is also on sale until July 18. Rates per person for a room with two occupants start from 5,000 yen for accommodation only and 6,500 yen including breakfast.
Access is approximately a 12-minute drive from Miyako Airport and about 25 minutes by car from Shimojishima Airport.
