Emirates SkyCargo will launch a cargo-only flight on the Tokyo/Narita-Dubai/Al Maktoum route on May 23.
Currently, it operates two weekly round trips on the Osaka/Kansai-Dubai/Al Maktoum route. This will increase cargo capacity by 100 tons per one-way flight. Car parts, machinery parts, semiconductor components, and pharmaceuticals are expected to be transported. The aircraft used will be the Boeing 777F.
With the delivery of the Boeing 777F, it will expand into new markets. A total of 57 weekly cargo-only flights are operated to East Asia and Southeast Asia, and more than 290 weekly passenger flights complement cargo transport. This will be the first regular cargo flight connecting Narita and the Middle East.
