Fairfield by Marriott
Hotel Granvia Hiroshima reopened its exclusive guest lounge “Granvia Lounge” for special floor guests on March 18.
The number of seats has been increased from 30 to 99, and a reception counter has been newly established, allowing guests to perform check-in and check-out procedures while enjoying tea at their seats. The food presentations have been increased from three to five times, and accordingly, the hours of operation have been extended from 9 hours to 12 hours. The food presentations feature dishes using local ingredients, and for breakfast, omelets, scrambled eggs, and beef steaks are served buffet-style with some dishes prepared to order. Guests can also enjoy sparkling wine selected by the lounge manager, who holds a sommelier qualification. During cocktail time, you can enjoy craft beers such as wine and sake from Hiroshima Prefecture and Miyajima beer.
The entrance features art pieces carefully selected by Mitsuhiro Kiyomasa from “Lidan Deet,” based in Hiroshima, along with books related to Setouchi and prism balls symbolizing “water,” which is a quintessential landscape of Hiroshima. The foil decoration in the center of the lounge, expressing the blue of Setouchi, is provided by Rekiseisha.
It is located on the top floor of the hotel, the 21st floor. The rooms targeted are the 20th-floor Granvia Floor, 19th-floor Superior Floor, 18th-floor Standard Floor, and 5th-floor Premium Floor.
