“Espacio Nagoya Castle” Opening on October 1st: Former Nagoya Castle Hotel Reimagined
The Royal Park Hotel Tokyo Haneda will offer the ‘Avion Beef Curry’ starting April 21.
In response to the closure of the restaurant ‘CURRY DINING AVION’ in Haneda Airport’s Terminal 1 in March 2025, the hotel’s 4th floor ‘Restaurant & Bar Tailwind’ has inherited the recipe of the famous ‘European-style Beef Curry’ originally from the French restaurant ‘Grill Avion’ (opened in 1963) which was painstakingly recreated in 2008.
Characterized by the rich flavor of domestically produced beef and vegetable sweetness stewed over three days, along with a spicy aroma and taste, this European style, rare at the time, was so popular that nearby residents would bring pots to purchase it.
Serving hours are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for lunch, and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. for dinner, with the last order at 10 p.m. Prices are 2,800 yen with soup and salad, and 2,400 yen for à la carte (dinner only). All prices include tax.
