Hotel Metropolitan Kamakura is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year by offering plans that contain a sense of gratitude, collaboration with Kamakura’s partner companies, and elements characteristic of Kamakura.
The “Kita-Kamakura Spring Water Network,” which has been involved in the management activities of Rokkokuzan in North Kamakura for over 20 years, provided thinned wood and hackberry from the mountains for maintenance management. Baggage tags made from this wood will be given as gifts to staying guests on a first-come-first-served basis starting from the anniversary date on April 24. A special event to inscribe names on the back will also be held on the anniversary date.
As a 5th anniversary accommodation plan, a “TSU ZU KU Custom-made” genuine leather traveler’s book cover accommodation plan will be sold. The leather cover, which can be utilized as a “Traveler’s Book” for keeping a travel itinerary, illustrations, tickets, stamps obtained during the trip, or as a “book cover,” is produced by “TSU ZU KU” that has a store in Omachi, as an original product for Hotel Metropolitan Kamakura. Room-only rates start from 35,210 yen per person for one room, and 41,710 yen for two people per room.
Additionally, a plan with “Enoden Goods & Kamakura Plum Soda” is also available. Four Enoshima Electric Railway goods—free case, pass case, pull reel, and towel handkerchief—are paired with “Kamakura Plum Soda” made from plums harvested in the city. A breakfast at Café & Meal MUJI, a “Kinka Gold Travel Set” by Kanazawa Gold Leaf offered in selected rooms, and an original tenugui hand towel from Hotel Metropolitan Kamakura are also presented. Rates including breakfast start from 32,000 yen per person for one room, and 35,290 yen for two people per room.
Reservations for both plans have been accepted from April 10, and the accommodation period starts from April 24. All rates include taxes and service charges.
