Solare Hotels and Resorts will rebrand and open “Yamanaka Onsen Kajikaso” on August 1.
The former Royal Hotel Yamanaka Onsen Kajikaso, operated by Daiwa Resort, opened in 1993 and closed in September 2021 due to aging. It will be operated by Japan Resort Hotel Operations.
The hotel features a total of 101 rooms, each over 35 square meters. Guests can choose from Japanese-style, Western-style, and Japanese-Western-style rooms, with accommodations available for 4 to 6 people. The interiors incorporate traditional Yamanaka lacquerware patterns on the wallpaper and Yamanaka lacquerware dishes, blending culture with sophisticated design.
The bathing facilities include a spacious indoor bath made of cypress, an outdoor bath overlooking the gorge, a restaurant, and a lounge.
