Hilton Tokyo will hold the summer sweets buffet ‘Ice Cream Republic’ from May 9 to August 27.
The sweets selection includes creations inspired by Italian gelato flavors, such as the ‘Bubbly Dome’ with raspberry jelly, the green-colored ‘Golden Apple’, the lemon-like ‘Lemonade Semi-Sphere’, the ‘Basil & Red Ruby Croquant Fruit Choux’ with ice cream cone-like toppings, and the ‘Passion Fruit Inspiration Panier’ which combines Valrhona passion fruit inspiration ganache with kiwi & yogurt mousse. The buffet also offers over 30 kinds of glass sweets, various ice creams, sherbets, soft serve, ice candies, ice cream sandwiches, as well as toppings like frozen fruits, nuts, marshmallows, cherry compote, waffle cones, and chocolate fountains.
The seven savory dishes, inspired by ice cream, feature appetizers like ‘Avocado Mashed Potato Salad’ and ‘Cereal and Corn Salad with Mint Yogurt Sauce’, as well as main dishes like ‘Hamburger Steak with Colorful “Bubu Arare” Egg Ankake’ and ‘Steamed White Fish with Lemon Butter Sauce and Herb Aroma’. Guests can enjoy 19 types of drinks, including 10 varieties of German Ronnefeldt tea. The interior is decorated in pastel colors, immersing visitors in the world of ice cream.
The location is on the 1st floor ‘Marble Lounge’. The buffet is available from 2:30 PM to 5 PM. The price is 5,700 yen on weekdays and 6,200 yen on weekends and holidays, including tax and service charges.
