Hotel Keihan Universal Tower completed the renovation of all 641 rooms in March.
Starting from 2023, the rooms were renovated under the theme of a “Luxury Cruise Ship on the Sea.” From the 30th floor to the 5th floor, each level is designed to represent the voyage and sea with the concepts of “First-Class Cabin of a Luxury Cruise,” “Moonlit Sea Surface,” “Sunlit Underwater,” and “Deep Sea World.”
The Tower Premium rooms on floors 30 to 25 feature Junior Suites and Deluxe Rooms that can accommodate up to six people. Floors 24 to 19 offer child-friendly rooms with low beds and a shoes-off style. Each floor from the 16th to the 30th includes a “Theater Casual Room,” which allows projections across the entire wall and features gnet cloth on parts of the wall for magnetic decorations for special occasions.
Additionally, the staff uniforms have been updated with new coloring based on blue, inspired by the crew uniforms of a luxury cruise ship.
