
Taiwan Opens Its First Pokémon Center as the Second Overseas Store, Commemorative ‘Taipei’s Pikachu’ Card Distributed
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will hold the official ceremony and events for ‘Japan Day’ at the Osaka-Kansai Expo on July 3.
The theme is “LIFE WILL BLOOM – Life Shines Again and Again,” reflecting the overarching theme of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, “Designing a Future Society for Our Lives,” by expressing the fundamental vitality of life through various stage programs.
The performances will include a collaboration of traditional Japanese court music (gagaku) with modern music, as well as stage productions that blend Japanese manga with contemporary dance, offering a taste of the tradition and innovation of Japanese culture, its diversity and creativity. Singer MISIA will also perform a special live concert.
The venue is the EXPO Hall ‘Shine Hat.’ The event will be held from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, with doors opening at noon.
Lottery reservations for general visitors to view the event will be accepted from June 3 to 25. If you have already reserved entry for a time after noon, you cannot apply.
