The Taipei City Government Tourist Bureau has announced a tourism campaign for Japan.
By presenting tickets to the Osaka-Kansai Expo and passports from countries other than the Republic of China (Taiwan) to partner facilities, visitors can receive special benefits at more than 60 brands and facilities in Taipei City. The campaign runs from May to the end of November. Examples of the benefits include a 50% discount on Starlux Airlines tickets, a 20% discount on admission to the National Palace Museum, and special offers and presents at Taipei 101’s observatory restaurant “85TD”. Participating facilities display campaign stickers.
Prior to the start of the campaign, Junta Nakama from WSET. has been appointed as the Taipei City Tourism Ambassador. The special website “Taipei Travel Net” features recommended courses toured by Mr. Nakama.
