Lloyd’s Capital to Acquire All Shares in the Gateway Narita Project
At the Osaka-Kansai Expo on July 12, the Japan Air Self-Defense Force’s aerobatic team, Blue Impulse, performed an exhibition flight. Initially scheduled to fly on the opening day of the Expo on April 13, with a rehearsal conducted on the 10th of the same month, the main event was canceled due to bad weather.
Blue Impulse took off from Kansai International Airport around 2:40 PM. They flew over the southern part of Osaka Prefecture, Osaka Castle, the Tower of the Sun, and Hirakata Park, appearing over the Expo site at around 2:53 PM. They performed for about 15 minutes, drawing hearts in smoke, successfully completing their ‘re-challenge’ at the Expo after three months.
The flight over Osaka Prefecture was the first in 35 years since the “International Garden and Greenery Exposition (Hana no Expo)” held in Osaka City in 1990.
In the western area of the venue, where there is a statue of the Expo’s official character “Myakumyaku,” large crowds of visitors with smartphones and cameras gathered. They captured photos and videos of Blue Impulse as they performed, cheering enthusiastically.
Blue Impulse is also scheduled to perform an exhibition flight with a similar schedule tomorrow on the 13th.
