Sony Bank is holding a cashback campaign for the overseas use of the “Sony Bank WALLET” from July 14 to October 14.
When used for in-person shopping and services overseas, 10% of the transaction amount, as well as a full refund of the 1.79% overseas transaction fee for specified currencies, will be credited back to the account. The refund will be deposited into the yen regular deposit account by mid-December, with a cap of 3,000 yen.
The specified currencies are Korean Won, Singapore Dollar, Thai Baht, Malaysian Ringgit, Vietnamese Dong, Taiwan Dollar, Indonesian Rupiah, Philippine Peso, Turkish Lira, and Chinese Yuan.
