
Lloyd’s Capital to Acquire All Shares in the Gateway Narita Project
The Philippine Department of Tourism held the “Philippine MICE Business Meetings 2025” in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.
From the Philippines, 14 companies with 20 delegates participated in Tokyo, and 16 companies with 21 delegates in Osaka, showcasing the latest initiatives and tourism resources in the MICE sector. One-on-one sessions were also conducted with travel industry and corporate event stakeholders.
In the Philippines, approximately 15,000 additional hotel rooms are expected to come online, and expansions of major convention centers are underway. With the ASEAN Summit scheduled for 2026, the country is strengthening its capacity to host large-scale international events.
The Philippine Department of Tourism is rolling out the “MICE Plus Program” to strengthen efforts to attract MICE events through incentives and support measures.
