
Lloyd’s Capital to Acquire All Shares in the Gateway Narita Project
tripla (Tripla), a Japan-based company, has added support for the Philippines’ online payment processing service “Maya” in its hotel reservation system “tripla Book”.
“Maya” is a payment service used by more than 40 million people in the Philippines. It already provides a prepayment feature in five countries, including Japan, and about 20% of bookings made via “tripla Book” are prepaid.
“tripla Book” is a booking engine for accommodation providers’ official websites, supporting 8 languages and 34 currencies. It offers features such as a “Best Rate” function that can display the lowest price, “Google Hotel Ads” integration that allows properties to list their direct rates in Google’s search results, a “membership management” function that helps acquire members, and a “points program” that encourages repeat stays.
