Cathay Pacific to Resume Hong Kong–Seattle Service from March 30, 2026
Awajiya will change how it sells the ‘EXPO2025 Myaku-Myaku Hippari-dako Meshi,’ an ekiben (boxed meal sold at railway stations in Japan) designed with the Osaka-Kansai Expo’s official character Myaku-Myaku, making it reservation-only from October 1.
While the contents of the classic ekiben ‘Hippari-dako Meshi’ remain the same, the Expo’s official character Myaku-Myaku is featured on three sides, and a special-design ceramic container and paper wrap in red, blue, and white are used.
Although advance sales started on September 18, long lines formed at the advance-sale locations, hindering foot traffic inside the facilities. Therefore, the general in-store sales that had been planned at company-operated shops from October 1 have been canceled and switched to a website-based, reservation-only system.
Reservations open at 10:00 a.m. each day from October 1 through 26. You can choose a specified date 4 to 7 days after the application date. Eligible pickup locations are Awajiya company-operated stores (Shin-Kobe store, Kobe Station store, Nishi-Akashi store, Piole Akashi store, Tarumi Station store, Seishin-Chuo store, Kobe Daimaru store, Sannomiya Center Street store, Kobe Hankyu store, Nishinomiya Hankyu store, Takarazuka Hankyu store, Kawanishi Hankyu store, Senri Hankyu store, Takatsuki Hankyu store, Hanshin Umeda store, Osaka Takashimaya store, Tsuruhashi store, Keihan Moriguchi store, Lazona Kawasaki store, LaLa Terrace Kawaguchi store), and Awajiya no Omoutsutsubo (Kobe Airport store, TOTTEI KOBE store).
Sales via the online shop will also be offered. Reservations open at 11:00 a.m. each day from October 1 through 26. You can specify a date 4 to 7 days after the application date.
The price is 1,980 yen (tax included). Quantities are limited, and orders are limited to one item per order.
