Imperial Hotel Tokyo switches guest room key cards to plant-based material
Hilton Tokyo Odaiba in Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan, will offer its Winter Holiday Afternoon Tea from November 17 through January 31, 2026.
Sweets include a red cheese mousse reminiscent of Santa Claus’s costume, a chocolate mousse tart shaped like a reindeer, a coconut brownie inspired by a Christmas ornament, a roll cake modeled after a candle, and a pistachio mousse adorned with snowflakes. Savories include minestrone soup with gnocchi, a mini burger with roast beef and foie gras, and mashed potatoes styled like a Christmas tree. Sandwiches are offered in four varieties in total: a soft roll (koppe-pan) filled with strawberries and mascarpone cheese, a baguette with turkey and lettuce, and a sweet potato bread sandwich with daigaku-imo (candied sweet potatoes) tossed with mayonnaise, among others. Scones come in two varieties—matcha & white chocolate with a red ribbon, and plain—and both the four sandwich varieties and the two scone varieties are available all-you-can-eat.
The venue is Grillogy Bar & Grill on the 2nd floor. Tea time consists of four seatings from noon to 5:00 p.m., each 120 minutes. For dinner time, on weekdays there is no time limit from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, there are two seatings from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., each 120 minutes.
