
Palau Seminar & Workshop in Tokyo; United to Launch Narita–Koror Direct Flights Oct 29
Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts (Osaka, Japan) and The Asahi Shimbun Company will present ‘Atlas of the Heavens: Treasures of the Italy Pavilion’ from October 25 through January 12, 2026.
This special exhibition commemorates the 160th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Italy, as well as the Osaka–Kansai Expo. Among the works shown at the Italy Pavilion of the Osaka–Kansai Expo, three will be on view: the ‘Farnese Atlas’, Leonardo da Vinci’s ‘Codex Atlanticus’, and Perugino’s ‘The Banner of Justice’.
Hours: 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (last admission 4:30 p.m.). Closed Mondays (or the following weekday if Monday is a national holiday in Japan) and from December 29 through January 2, 2026. Admission: Adults 1,800 yen; high school and university students 1,500 yen; elementary and junior high school students 500 yen; children below school age free. Groups of 20 or more receive a 200-yen discount. All prices include tax. Timed-entry reservations are prioritized; reservations will be accepted starting October 18 at 10:00 a.m.
